I noticed something about the pound MOST OF THE NAMES ALL HAVE JUSTIN.

Now is that odd , or is it me?

ANy one putting a painted pet in at the moment?

I've noticed that type of thing in the pound before. There will be a specific name that many pets will have. I remember one time where a lot of pets had "ninja" somewhere in their name.

I belive they are caused by "pounders". Heartless people who will adpot tons of pets just to pound them. Really a sad and sorry thing if you ask me.

I've commented on that before myself, I believe it has something to do with the massive amount of pets that are in the pound, and they cycle though names like that often.

Is the pound still stuck on one part of the alphabet? For a while now it's not been showing any pets starting with K or any letter after that in the alphabet when you do a random search through the pound (or at least it's been like that for a lot of people). On top of that J is the most common starting letter for the names being called up - by a huge factor.

Hence why a lot of pets are getting stuck nowadays. Even if it's not affecting anyone I thought it would have been fixed by now - then again I haven't been there in ages so maybe it is fixed now, heh. The prob with all the identical names is the fault of mass-pounders but the sticky pound is making it seem a lot worse too

i seen yesturday most of the pets had jula init and the day before that the pound was overloaded with jubjubs and most of there names had or where jub in it

A couple of months ago it was filled with elephantes

the past 5 days all the names have been the same thing for the whole day like one day it was all jubjubs and one day it was all julie and then jay and then all numbers one day it was all a's and today it's all justins i was thinking that maybe they are clearing out old accounts? i dunno

Actually, there are not 2 or more pets in the Pound with identical names. I'd wondered about that before too, but when I put a foster back into the Pound, I was looking in there for a new one, and saw her show up more than once on the page. It's the same pet, it's just that they were cycled so she showed up twice.

I don't know about all the pets with similar names. Since a user can only create a pet once a day, and has to wait a week to dump them, I suspect TNT is randomly generating the names to keep the Pound full. But that's just my opinion.
