18th August - Meerca Day!

* To get their special day off to a flying start, Meercas can now be painted Grey and Camouflage.

* Neopets in Hong Kong - We just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who came along. Both days were a huge success and we thoroughly enjoyed being there. Hopefully we will do something similar to this again soon.

* We have made a few changes to the Faerie Meerca so now it's wings should be in the right place

* You may remember Hermeedjet and Meerouladen from an old plot we ran a while back. Now you can have these little thieves as your desktop Background.

* Purplepassiony2k has won this week's Neoadventure Spotlight award with their adventure - PWNed by the Lab!

The Scorchio invites you deeper into his lab. It's dark, damp and of course scary with the loud cracks of lightning! (Um, where did the lightning come from?) You walk slowly so your eyes will adjust, but you trip anyway and hit your head on a torch lamp. You reach up and feel your head; no big bump yet, but you feel really dizzy. "Why don't you just sit over here on this chair," the Scorchio chuckles, saying to you, "you won't feel thing!"

* There are also four new Shopkeeper images for you to choose from.

* A new Lenny Conundrum competition has begun. The answer to last week's was Round 11. 946 people guessed the correct answer earning themselves 2,115 NP each.

That's alot of updates for a day that just started 18 minutes ago. (At least, in my time. It's 12:18 AM.)

I'm only interested in the Random Contest, though. Gotta see those balloon neopets! :-D

That update is nice though.

Bah, the two things I was looking forward to, random contest and art gallery, I didn't win. But my meerca on my side account is getting trained so that's cool I guess...
