The thing is, this is not true obviously. I went on the neoboards and was talking to a person about how Amy Rose is NOT Sally's sister...I guess...she felt vengeful. -.-

I think it's VERY stupid that when you warn people for Neoboard messages, that you can CHANGE it to say something that you did not do!

We should send in mass amounts of editorial questions about this...I mean think about it, it would be alright for things outside of the message board but...anyone can edit to anything. @_@

God, I saw some guy posting his warning about saying sexual things, then I reported him without changing anything and I don't believe he is frozen...

The staff doesn't really read the reports. So I could maybe report you for saying "The" and you could maybe get a warning. x.x

I don't know who Amy or Sally Rose is...but that warning is weird. There have been ALOT of really strange warnings lately. Honestly.

People are getting warnings for telling other people a contest (like in a guild or shop, etc.) is against the rules - the warning they're getting is the one for having contests. I saw this happen just last night. I am a super lurker - barely post at all anymore.

People are also posting that they're getting warnings for things they never did or said, or got a warning for something when they weren't even ON the site. What's up with that?!

I think their filters/bots need a tune-up ... with a sledgehammer.

Amy Rose is a character from the Sonic Series (Correct me if I'm wrong). And ironically she has a sledge hammer as a weapon.

*blinks* I don't think he was talking about Amy the Hedgehog... I don't recall there being a Sally Rose in any of the Sonic games or comics.

Amy Rose is a pink hedgehog from the Sonic the Hedgehog series, first seen in Sonic CD.

Princess Sally is a brown ground squirrel from the Sonic the Hedgehog comic published by Archie.

And adamgone is right, they are in no way related to each other.

Sally has one brother, Elias, and her parents, Alicia and Max.

All we know of Amy Rose is that she has a cousin, Rob o' the Hedge (discovered in the comic books)

more than likely you were reported for off topic.. Discussing whomever this amy & sally folks were is nothing to do with neopets.. These days you cant even think thoughts non related to neopets or get reported.

Yeah, very true - off topic posts cause a lot of warnings and freezings unfortunately. It even says on the neoboard page "Remember to stay on topic!". Which board were you on?

Do you know what. It sounds like one of the staff has no idea who Amy Rose and sally is and probably misunderstood a post yet again. This has happened to me before on many many occasions now. I say just keep any real non-neo conversation to other chats like gaia online or something. At least a place where people aren't so blind when they go sending warnings.

You also could have said something on another occasion they read wrong. It does happen... Frequently. I think they have a bad egg in the staff at the moment.

I suggest mailing support and asking. Since if it is another mistake, hopefully this member will be found out some time and the stupid freezings/warnings might just stop or at least calm down.
(Try and include the date and time they sent it if possible. I keep all the warnings in a folder. So I can question them if needs be! Which usually do.)

About it being due to "off topic" posts. Thats crazy. Since the warning wasn't anything to do with that. It was about real life issues. This is rather like the warning I just received recently... ¬_¬
