Maybe I should start writing about business instead of cold :)

Anyway, you may want to know that they have also frozen an old account of mine, unused for one year or so, which I used these days to post messages to my guild. This time though, they also took care to delete all my messages in the Guild too :)
It would be interesting to spread the word...
BTW, a friend of mine, posted a question like "Why is alombar42 still frozen?" in her user lookupo and got a warning from TNT right the next day!

The order for freezing seems to come from some "high" manager, maybe Dohring himself, or else I can't explain why stuff people I have discussed in the past in a friendly manner won't even reply.
IMO, neo are changing their business model, maybe due to upcoming competition or maybe due to their "immersive advertising" being less legal than what it should - the future will show if I'm right or not.

I thought guild messages are automatically deleted when you are frozen. I don't think they took special care to do that. Anyhoo, sorry aboot your account being frozen. They could at least say that being too successful is against the rules. Tsk tsk tsk.

Thats terrible, out of interest are there any of your accounts that they havent frozen??? It seems to be getting rather personal with them, have you had a disagreement with anyone recently that could have caused this?

Good luck with getting them back :)

Edit: By the way what reason did they give for freezing this account?

Iiiiick. My guess is they probably froze that account by tracking your IP address or something; I believe that's what they do. It's happened to quite a few unlucky people here.

As for the guild message dealie, yeah, they delete all the messages when someone gets frozen in it. Sucks, huh?

The reason was the same "using a cheating program" blah blah. It was just a random reason.

And I don't think they will ever restore the accounts - when I tried to sign up as alombar42_second, I never received an authentication code. Most probably, the word "alombar42" has been added to some filter :)

I wonder what are they afraid of or what are they trying to avoid...

The easiest thing to do is track IPs... this is also how my wife's accounts were also frozen (for the same reason, although she had not used them for the past month or so). Most probably they won't restore them either, since she would own the top shop :)

As for deleting messages, we have a saying here that goes like "Big power, huge ignorance" (actually it's more "poetic" but I can't properly translate it LOL).

JasEdit: Please use the "edit" button instead of double posting. Thank you. :)

It definitely sounds like you're being IP banned if a basically unused account just for a guild was frozen and you can't get a new account started.

It does seem to get "personal" when there's a mass freezing.

Getting a warning for putting something like 'why was so and so frozen' is really WOW ... I've seen people get warnings (with good reason) and their lookups cleared for posting someone's name and accusing them of something or calling them names.

As far as messages being cleared - that will happen if you're frozen. It also happens if you get a warning. I had replied to another person in my guild because I was trying to find a specific Mcdonald's plushie. She suggested ebay. I replied that was a good idea, that I'd go search on ebay. Next time I logged in had an official warning for posting "outside links" (however they word that one) ... and all my guild messages were gone. Now neither of us posted the URL for ebay - just typed the word ebay. And the other person had nothing done - not that I want anyone getting such an absurd warning, but still odd. Small guild, not really active, only a few of us post regularly, so I highly doubt it was someone in my guild reporting me for typing ebay.

One other thought ... and this may be a weird one ... if there is someone who was using some sort of "cheat" and their IP was very very close to yours, you could have gotten "caught" in an IP ban. I've heard of that happening before and from what I understand it's a nightmare to try to straighten out.

Of course, you could always get a different IP - and if you do start a new account, use a different email and make the name something completely different. No reference to alombar in any way - not in user or pet names.

I know this won't be of any help but it's worth a try, sign up with another name which isn't obvious such as alombarizbak or something of the sort. But if you're IP Banned, than I don't know what to do. I'd keep e-mailing them, sure it takes time but hopefully one member like Will or Vipada will read it and unfreeze your accounts.

SUGGESTION: Go to your local library and sign up for a new neopets account. Access if from home, but DO NOTHING. If your IP is banned, they will zapp your new account. Sign up for a totally new e-mail address as well.
