I just had 57,455np on hand, I came on here and read some messages and then back on neopets i changed pages and suddenly I have 84,683np. No random event, I had no trades or auctions waiting, I panicked incase someone had gotten into my account but nope, my money is still in my bank......what on earth happened? I know I had a score pending but that would only account for 1000np......

Are you sure maybe you had an event and just didn't see it? Or maybe it could be a glitch...Better leave the money where it is, just in case...

nope i only pressed 1 link so only changed page once before i noticed.....I was actually checking to see if my np for my game had gone through....im not touching it just incase!

EDIT: Taking into account the 1000np for my score leaves 26228np unaccounted for........which is a strange number dontcha think?!

No I got bumped off the trophy section so just got the 1000np max for the game

The last time someone ended up with a handful of extra cash (it was around 10k if I remember correctly), it was as a result of a PPL that had not been released yet.

It could be prizes from some competition or something perhaps? One that the prizes have been issued but the answer not "released" or something? It could also be a random event that didn't show up. Boochi hit one of my pets a few weeks ago, but I never saw the random event. Maybe it is one of those things?

No, the only contests i have entered were the mystery pic and lenny conundrum and both of those dont end until later in the week. I suppose its possible it was a RE which didnt show up for some reason, other than that it must be the PPL.

Random events can only give up to a max of 1,000 Neopoints. The PPL is the most logicial answer, seeing what was said above.

That happened to me the other day. I had 0 NP and then suddenly had a little over 7,000. With no event. I had been playing a flash game and didn't like my score, so I just went to shops, and it was there!
