Placed a bid!

I placed a bid on a honey potion and it took my money right? Well I expected it to do that and then someone out bidded me and I wanted to up it and it didnt give me my money back that I bid on. Is that normal?

uif ya anna bid more it'll add to your original bid but yer points dont seem to come back till the auction is concluded

Give it awhile. I've sometimes had to wait over an hour to get my neopoints returned to me after an auction. If you're really worried though, just send a bug report with the auction number.
