Lab Ray Question

Is there a certain level where the lab ray will stop dropping your pets to level one?

I don't know this for sure, but I have heard it is around level 50.

Well, I've heard from people with pets over Level 50 that it can still occur. The lab is random, and therefore can add or subtract levels at will. If your pet is level 50, and it takes away 2 levels, and does so periodically in a few weeks, your pet may be down to level 1 again. It only says that it drops your pet to level 1 when it takes away more levels than you have, so I believe there is no safe milestone that the lab cannot diminish.

I'm not worried about it dropping one or two levels. i'm training my pets level so i can get some faerie abilities for the battledome... I just don't want to lab and ruin all my work going from eg level 49 to 1

I believe he's referring to the effect "...and he/she drops to level one".
I think 20 or so is where that stops.

i think not. lab ray is created for your random changes of your stats and theneopets team would NOT do that anyway

Are you saying it wont drop pets to Level one?
If so, you're mistaken. The Lab does it occasionally for low-level pets.

Yeah, it sometimes drops pets to Level 1.
Like, say, a level 9 pet could go all the way back to one in one zap.
It's for weaker pets, though, I think.
It always has the chance of taking away 1 or 2 levels, though, no matter what your pet's stats are.

I think that the marker is 50, but it never happened to me over 50 because I never tried it. I don't use lab on my main pet anymore because it keeps on making me lose levels.

Well, I have been labbing for about three years now and my pet has never had that happen to him. I don't know what the cut off for the level is, but the chances of it occuring is really really rare.
