Wow.. Deja Vu :D

Tue Jan 04, 2005 2:17 am

This account has been FROZEN for the following reason:

This account was one of many being used by the same owner to earn Neopoints.

Looks like I forgot we couldn't have one account... my bad!

:( Sorry.

Were you actually using more than one account to earn NP then?

That stinks.. Right after getting 1.2 mill too.

I sympathize for ya. I was frozen (but not multiple times)

Actually that was just 1.2 mil in the till

And no, what I meant in my original post was that I did only have one account, and it was just an excuse for a reason.

Edit: For those of you who don't know, im famous for being frozen, which is why it's deja vu =D

Pozy, if you don't want to be frozen, why don't you just slow down in making the NPs? I mean, it seems like a viable solution to me...

You shouldn't have to hinder yourself to avoid being frozen...but yeah, Pozy, you need to just slow down a little.

I don't feel like changing myself to suit the needs of the TNT. Albeit a good choice, not one I'll take :D

That reason for freezing has always baffled and annoyed me. What exactly do they mean by that? That they think you've played games, done dailies, bought scratchcards, stock or restocked on another account?

In your case, having only one account it's really O_o I guess it is the amount of np you made in a very short period of time. But freezing for "one of many" makes no sense if you only had one account.

Most people I've seen frozen for making "too much" np too quickly are usually frozen for "cheating/using a downloadable program" - even when they didn't!

Yeah what happened exactly? im interested.

Do you have a family member or friend who uses the same computer to play Neopets and thus have the same IP as that person? That is a major reason for unfair freezings.

Qanda, that is very, very true! I've seen that one happen so many times and it's beyond unfair. They have to know there's alot of people sharing a computer - not an account, not trying to cheat or "multi" - just a computer. I sat and watched a mom post on a board once, she was so happy and excited. She'd saved up enough np to buy her son a pb he really wanted and sent it to him via "send to neofriend" instead of the trading post so it would be a surprise. Both accounts were frozen :( Some surprise, huh?

When my new roommate, who also does play on Neo moved in, I made sure to send an email to Support giving my usernames (I do have more than one account - all on the same email, same user info) and her username and email. I got a very nice response, which I saved in my emails, forwarded a copy to my roommate's email and saved a copy on notepad - just in case.

It was only a matter of time I suppose :(. They just don't like you being so good at their game. It makes them look bad. I really wish they'd not freeze you for once though. [shakes fist at them]

Me and my wife use the same computer, but we have seperate logons. So we both have neopets running at the same time in theory.

We've never had a problem

Nor here. We have 3 Neoplayers in our house and three computers. And, there are times when all three of us are playing Neo at the same time. And each of us has a main account and at least one secondary account.

Been doing it for over two years now without a problem.
