I've removed the email support persons name as I don't know that it was them who warned me. They could just be email support staff.

But it just goes to show. Watch EVERYTHING you say. Or better still, don't go on the boards at all... Unless you have an account you don't mind gettting iced for saying "poo" on.

NOTE: The person I was talking to was called "Hairy" (was part of the username) and I was just joking with them and they to me. Also the warning was specificly about bad language and profanity.

No, not really. I'd laugh if someone said it to me. Because they'd probably be right in the situation we were in. He kept going then comming back. even he found the comment amusing. As it was.

To be honest if someone found that so hurtfull then maybe they should get help and wonder if they should be allowed on the internet alone.

Plus. It was only a joke and he knew it. He and others said far worse things and swore even. But no warning.

Not when the F word was above that comment and mine was removed straight away as if they were monitoring the conversation. I personally and I'm sure others think they went a bit too far. It's over ruled with rules now.

So much that people even try to get frozen to provoke them.

The person who made the F word comment before it wasn't warned/frozen or anything. I even checked the board after everyone had gone and mine were all deleted.

I actually think who gets warned and for what is so weird these days. People do get warned/frozen for typing crap. Also for hell (when it's on the site in various places), poo - we know that's on the site; as in "Adam smells of ..." The n word - yes, you can get warned at the least for that - it's considered harrassment. And it's on the site, even on the list of the little things we can have under our names on the boards.

I'm going to guess that whoever saw that did think you were being insulting. Why another post with something flagrant (the "F") had nothing done is beyond me. How on earth was that missed!

I do go to the boards - mostly lurk. But when I do post, I am so careful in what I type, and I read it before I click the submit button - a typo can get you frozen too, if something's seen/filtered/read wrong.

It's like when we got warned for typing ebay (and you got frozen for it:() - the person on my guild board who first typed ebay as a suggestion had nothing done - no warning, no cleared posts. But I got a warning when I responded saying I'd try ebay, and my message was right over top of hers.

To be honest I think it was more than me typing ebay that got me iced. More like someone who didn't like me. Reading me neomails. Since, why in the world were they monitoring my mails at that specific time? Because when I re-made my account I was warned for "Dating". When the only thing remotely connected (What I could see) was me and a friend talking about the girly mans club and what a day shopping with them would be like with me and her.

I think she mentioned going because she'd like to look at one of the mens bums while we were walking. Yet I got warned.

So I don't know. Something weirds going on. But not to worry. It was on a spare account I don't really care about. I just wanted to point out the stupidness of warnings nowadays.

(Freezing/warning for calling nuub is ridiculous. Some people should toughen up or not go on forums. Because it's just like being on a playground. But they chose to be there. They don't have to read the comments...)

I guess when it comes to Neopets, you have to talk as if you were talking to your 90 year old grandmother. If you wouldn't say it in front of her, then don't say it on Neopets.

However, I heard my grandmother use the word crap and damn on more than one occasion and she was a church-going, Bible-reading lady.

I was frozen, for what i believe is neomailing someone about thier "hoochie coochie tablets" for trade. Just tells you they don't read anything. Filter catches it & the freeze/warn you depending on what's said or done.
