Hello,
Thanks for your inquiry. Your account has been frozen for attempting to sell
your account or pets for Neopoints, Neopets items, or money. This is strictly
against the terms and conditions that you agreed upon when you created your
account. You can review our terms and policies here:
http://www.neopets.com/terms.phtml and here:

Okay, I seriously have no idea what this is about, one night I was fine, next day after school I was frozen.
How do I explain it to her? I really need help

I have been frozen for the same reason, and not unfrozen.

Good luck!

Oh My! Did you post on any board that you had a pet for adoption? Or was someone trying to get you to give up one of your pets to them?
I'm wondering if someone did want a pet of yours, you said no or it was adoptable and adopted by someone else, that they didn't go ahead and decide in a fit of anger/jealousy to report you, using the completely flawed 'report this message' that allows people to edit/change what they're reporting. Therefore, it would have your username, the time and date, but the message could be changed to make it sound like you were offering to sell a person a pet.

Wow, you can EDIT the post you're reporting!? Why would they allow people to do that? That's something that should be fixed immediately. Stupid, stupid, stupid. Everybody on here should write into the editorial demanding that be changed.

Yeah, you can. Just doesn't make sense, does it?
I mean...it's just asking for people to go report someone without a reason.
I'll write to the editorial and see if it's answered...

I just wrote to the editorial... I sent it under "requests" because I wasn't sure what category was best. I hope they fix this. No wonder people are so scared to post on the neoboards -- if some nasty poster doesn't like what you say, they can report you and change your words around! That should never have been designed that way. It must be a mistake in coding or something.

it's been there forever.. i've sent it in to the editorial multiple times with no answer.

Heh, join the club. Good luck getting your account back.

I admit it - I did, a few of them. Now that you mention it - I did infact recieve tons of mails asking for Iaceo and Celdrik, and begging and stuff. I think they might have altered my posts in some way, I think I should stop going there and lurking period. I agree, I think they are being to strict for freezing me for something I didn't do mainly because they won't even let me explain my case - horrible, horrible freezing system.

I knew I remembered someone posting ss of what can happen when a message is reported. Full credit to OmniIcyShelf for this - here's the topic page:
http://www.pinkpt.com/forum/viewtopic.p ... c&start=15
Proof that posts being reported CAN be edited/changed. Which I knew because I tested it - did
not send a report myself (though the post was technically reportable - I just am not a reporter), just wanted to see for sure if it was possible. And it is. I don't know about neomail reports, I don't want to go sending a report on someone innocent - just in case.

So thats what you guys think might have happened to me? How should I explain it to the staff? They aren't listening to a word I say

I make it a point not to answer emails asking for my pets (or items). Just ignore neomails that seem non-sense. Remember, they can always edit what you said when they report you.
