The one I got was a maraquan moehog. Very shiny, has Promo in a star on the card.

Are you suscribed? I suscribed in June or July, and haven't recieved mine, either. They said I only payed for half a year, but I know for sure I payed for a full year.

I got it, its a Maraquan Moehog I believe =) Its an awesome card. I got mine 2 weeks ago, I got it..early.

However... reading the editorial, I noticed a major mistake.

Q: What exactly is this talk of special sidebars? Someone said that if you get certain ones you get certain random events and certain items. Is any of that true? Or is it just gossip
A: It is true. The sidebar is the large yellow area down the left-hand side of the Neopets site. On special occasions everyone will have a different theme; for example, we did a winter sidebar for some days in December and a Haunted Woods themed bar for Halloween.

I didn't type out all of it, such as the Users username and the full answer. It was just too long. But do you mind telling me which days in December we had a Themed Bar?

I am on daily and never once saw a bar neither did my guy so maybe they forgot to put it in or it was random?

I can't believe they write these things three months previously before the issue comes out. That is outrageous... :roflol:

the magazine may be written three months in advance (most companies do) however certain parts can be added just before the print run begins.
and i think there was a special sidebar on christmas day?
i remember alot of snowflakes and that sort of ilk floating about.

Hmm, well if there was a special sidebar, it must have been random and very few people got it. I know I was on the site just about all day Christmas (home alone) and never saw anything special.

Yeah, I remember that deal. I posted what they said in the magazine back in the old thread we had about not getting a new year's sidebar.

Nope, there was no sidebar. The snowflake thing was how they updated the background in happy valley/terror mountain to show snowflakes in the white background.

But now that you mention it...those snowflakes are gone. Hmm. O_o I didn't think it would be a temporary thing.

Goes to tell ya there was supposed to be one, but they never released it...
