Is it ever worth it to do her quests?

I have tried a few times and it seems great cause she usually wants one item and its pretty cheap.
But then she gives me a very cheap prize!

For me, I've gotten the same results as you. I think one of my friends got something good from her one time. I can't remember what. But, I don't do her quests anymore, because I never make a profit.

You can get rare items but they almost never happen. Doesn'tshe randomly give out her avatar?

I've been doing Edna quests in an attempt to get the avatar (its random ). I've probably done about 50 quests by now and a few times I've gotten items worth about 2-8k (and I never do a quest over 1k) but most of the time I get items that sell for about 20-200nps, not worth it. Personally, I wouldn't be doing the quests if I already had the avatar, heh.

Apparently on very rare occassions the reward from Edna will be a Snorkle Snout though...

I've gotten gummi worms from her twice, (each worth 11k at the time)

It also depends on whether you're trying to get the avatar -- I know that's influenced a few people to do her quests when they wouldn't normally.

I had done about 1200 quests before my account was frozen, and no avatar. >.>
