Just got the 9th piece today do you guys know which stats raise and lower the most and how rare is it to get a poogle into a msp?

For me, it lowers just about EVERYTHING! If you want your poogle become an MSP, then you've gotta have a lot of luck. For me, it was a waste of np... But for you, it might not be!

I dunno which stat it gives most, but your levels will be murdered. 3+ years of owning lab and I've yet to get a rare color from it, past faerie.
Movement, yeah, it gives movement the most. HP seems like the most, but only cause lab doesn't take it.

Okay thanks guys so I guess the -2 that I got won't be the last eh?

Put it this way...I've been labbing my pet for 119 days (I keep a log).
And here's it's stats
Species : Flotsam
Colour : Red
Gender : Female
Age : 328 days
Level : 16
Health : 90 / 90
Strength : GREAT (34)
Defence : heavy
Move : GREAT (24)
Basically, level is most commonly lowered, and HP is almost never lowered. There are rare occassions in which it can happen. Movememnt isn't actually raised that much. In fact, I'd say it's on par with strength raising. Your best bet, if your trying to raise a good battle pet, is to constantly train it's level and strength, otherwise, when you're done labbing, you'll be stuck with a very wonky pet.

Heh, I was trying to get an MSP Poogle for a while.
Then it turned the Poogle Faerie.

People who buy the lab hoping to get a specific pet are very often disappointed, because there are so many possible outcomes for each day's zap. In my experience, I've lost many levels and my pet's defence gets lowered quite often also. But I've gotten nice strength and HP boosts also. Movement stays about the same (every time I get a boost, it usually gets lowered again not long after). Gender changes are also semi-frequent.
As far as species and color changes go, my current lab pet has gone from an Ixi to a Wocky, a Ruki, a Wocky again, and is now a Jetsam. He's been yellow, green, red, rainbow, shadow, and is now island. When I first started labbing, I had hoped he'd turn into a grey ixi. So you can see how unpredictable and random it is.

After having access to the lab ray for well over two years now, I have never lost any hit points. I did, however, lose all of my levels. Defense seems to be affected least out of any stat besides Intelligence, as it seems rare to gain/lose defense points from it.

Its totally random what happens to your pet, if you are looking for a short term thing then the lab isnt for you but if you dont mind waiting and have a lot of patience then the lab can be really handy!

I absolutly loooove the lab! I got all kinds of rare colors from it, Fire, Tyrannian, Faerie, and a semi-rare one. Skunk. I agree that it lowers the level the most and hp the least, for me, it also lowers my Defense a lot.
I dont lab to train my pet now, I just do it for the colors.

I've gotten Darigan from it. For me, it destroys level, gives me lots of speed, and never lowers HP.

There in a large excitement form seeing what will happene very day. I have gotten tons of rare pets (and put them up for adoption) including Robot Cow, Island Uni, Jelly Chomby, and Rainbow Corbat.
On BD: I had a basic untrained pet to start with, so it has alright for that. It does give you a lot of Hit Points cheap. If you zap to high hit points and then train, you will greatly appreciate the lab ray.
