Would the Pant Devil go for this?

Just recently I ran into a good random event and I got a Basic Nerkmid and after two trips to the vending machine I ended up with a Golden Nerkmid XX. Now my question is this is the Pant Devil attracted to the value of something or is it REALLY just a random and a VERY sick joke played TNT u know with the hard to find opponent being the first quest of DoN

I believe it is just random.

But keep some Mega-Rare omelettes in your inventory, because I believe he goes after the rarest item when he steals.

Stealing NPCs always seem to go for rare items.

Well okay, I guess I could sell the nerk, buy some omelettes, obcess and refresh for the rest of my life things will be alright... they have to, my life is at stake

BTW I neomailed TNT about this 8 times on different accounts and they won't respond to me why won't they realize and fix their mistakes its totally not fair for me or anybody else to have to skip out on a main trophy because they're not smart enough to abjust the accessibility of the easiest opponent

I got the pant devil to show up three times while playing dice-a-roo. I already had him as an opponent, but I got him 'again'. I have no idea if he usually shops up in dice-a-roo or not though. I've never seen him after that incident, at any rate.

Relax, if you play long enough you'll get him sooner or later. It's only a trophy after all.

The longest I have heard of a person going without getting the Pant Devil is 27 months...

Just hope that you get it sooner or Neo sticks him under the Money Tree again

I've had my account for 23 months now still no show I've gotten him thru the dice-a-roo wheel of misfortune and excitement and none of those counts. Wonder what Neopets was thinking?

The pant devil doesn't always steal expensive items, you just tend to only remember the those times because it's a big loss. I don't think he's ever taken anything much more than junk from me. Of course I never carry much more than junk usually.

Just fill you inventory with stuff and he's bound to take something eventually.

Want randoms like the pant devil? Refresh on the shop wiz--over and over and over. Since last Saturday, I have gotten (on my main and my secondary account) the pant devil, Dr. Sloth's minions tax, the Tax Beast, and Dr. Sloth turning something to sludge. I was lucky--I only lost about 26K in total (I have learned to keep nothing but junk in my inventory and only 100K out at a time). But, I still made out OK. In that same time period, I have gotten four or five codestones and two secret lab map pieces.

I've had my account for three years, and I've never had him. On my other account, who's name and password I've forgotten, was four and a half years old....and I've never gotten him. Or the Tax Beast.

I've never really gotten bad random events.

It's completely random. You may get it today, maybe in two years. Hopefully for you, it'll be today.

actually, the pant devil is really random. In my main account it took me 14 months to get him as a challenger. I had no stealable items in my inventory (only trade items I use to feed the turdles) and got him in the explore page. It just said I got him as a challenger, but he could not steal anything from me.
However, in my gallery account, just 2 weeks old (back then) he stole some junkie found in a random event.

I'm also voting for random... I got him in just a couple of months on my old account, but it took me 21 months to get him on the account I have now. He finally showed up last week while I was playing pyramids, and stole a Cherry-tastic Faerie Pie. I think doing anything that involves a lot of refreshing (Dice-a-Roo, Pyramids, Scarab 21, Sakhmet Solitaire, using the shop wizard, chatting, etc) helps with the random events, because you just have more pageviews for events to happen on.

Now I just have to wait for a remotely affordable Brain Tree/ Esophagor quest. Any idea what's reasonable to pay for those?
