Sell or Crack?

I got a Wocky Cracker as a RE the other day and I don't know if I should sell it..
If my pet plays with it will it crack and give me prizes that may be woth more than the cracker?
Does anyone know about this?

I suggest waiting for a while, then selling it. The price will probably have inflated by then.

I believe the cracker usually sells for more than the stuff ...
