or 9, i can't remember, lol. I just got it. It came with a promo Maraquan Moehog TCG Card and has a LOT of stuff about the upcoming plot.

well, they have a character named Garin, which sounds a lot like Garon. WAAAH!!! I MISS THE ICE CAVES!!!

Ahhh Garon the Lupe. I will never betray you. *salutes* I saw the magazine in the video game store the other day. Didn't get to look at it though, as I was a mission for a game. I never got any the magazines though, I'm not exactly sure if it's worth it. But the cover is purdy. O.O

ok, the maraquan petpets look SO awesome! the Cobrall looks like an eel, the snarhook looks like a jellyfish, the meowclops looks like a fish with blue hair, the spyder looks like an actopus, the anubis looks like a sea horse, and the gallion looks flat-out AWESOME! Ok, here are the characters for the plot:
King Kelpbeard: Aided by Nereid, King Kelpbeard led the survivors to safety and became a noble leader to the free people of Maraqua. Now he is leading them back to reclaim and rebuild their once great city.
Isca: Ever since she can remember, Isca has seen things in her dreams. These premonitions have helped her friends and family avoid disaster, and earned her a few steadfast friends. Lately, though, her dreams have become more frequent and she has a feeling something is about to happen.
Isca also has a sester who was cast out from her family named Caylis. She sees the future in her nightmares and bad things happen when she weeps.
That's all I'm sayin.

Those two mer-Aishas are soooo cool! I really like them, the characters look interesting. But what is TNT's new fascination with pirate related Usuls lately? I'm sorry I just can't picture a Usul going around with a bottle of rum singing yo ho ho har har har matey. XP

You know what? If the pirate usuals looked like the one in the magazine, that would be the ONLY pet I would EVER want. Or the koi even, I love his plumpness and stubbornnes. THAT should be the Royal Koi.

Well.. looking at those great pictures resulted in an epiphany...
The prolonged delay of the Maraquan plot has been justified by the introduction of the Maraquan Paint Brush and pets...
It would be pretty boring with just Koi, Flotsams and Jetsams...

That's what I said... but before Maraqua was destroyed, i'm almost definite the paintbrush didn't exist...
