Actually, it does. It was the puzzle to go along with the battles. It was just never finished, which is too bad because I love logic puzzles.

Well, the epilogue says "with Galem removed, Kanrik became leader of the thieves", so either he's dead, or Kanrik has him tucked away somewhere...
