Hideous Glitch of Mortal Doom reported on the NeoBoards

Threads in the BattleDome board on Neopets are being made by several various users complaining of having massive amounts of negative neopoints due to a glitch, perhaps stemming from auctioning errors or a relatively common random event gone awry. Some users have had their NP reset to zero after posting on the boards, but I haven't seen anyone fully gain the NP they lost back yet.

Some of the thread titles:

NP : -4,498,976 || Woah! I have found 1,524 Neopoints so far!

NP : 0 // I love you moderator Now where's my actual Neopoints?

Welcome, -removed- | Pet : Grandmother | NP : -657,874

Some of this was going on last night, I hope it does not happen to me. It is really odd, people with negitive 4mill is insane and is a scary glitch to me.

Wow! I am shocked this glitch was ture, it happened to me but I didn't understand why. I had -1001np. I got pretty mad but it was not a lot, still I lost np. It got me very mad. Glad I am not alone though.
