Whenever I've gotten an event recently, it says there are two events pending, when I really only have one. Has this been happening to anyone else?

Hm, that happened to me once. Someone was asking to be my Neofriend. I got the message twice, but, funnily enough, no actual pending request from them... (I'm sure it was the exact same one both times)
Most of the time, however, I get something like this: amdir_mallorn has given you () or something.

All my events happened once except for the waiting to battle one which happened about 4 times but that might be because he actually did it 4 times

Sometimes events and things happen more than once. Naniwai can tell you a story about getting the rejection notice from the NT about 80 times for the same comic, each message the exact same ammount of time apart. It filled up her inbox.

Heh, that one happened to loads of people. It was quite a pain. But I must say, it was awesome to report theneopetsteam for spamming.
Haven't experienced this glitch, though.

I can't say I've experienced this with items but thinking back, there was a point for awhile where I got two messages saying exactly the same thing from anyone who sent me a message, I was just getting annoyed by it thinking that the people we incapable of pressing the "Send" button once (how horrible of me) but it is a little strange that it happened with quite a number of people sending me messages, hmmm.
