Coconut Shy

I know you can win totems from it... but does anyone know how to knock one of those darn things off? I find that keeping the cursor on the coconut after it disappears (right after the hand comes up that holds the coconut) seems to help, but that might just be coincidence... any ideas?

Theres no actual technique to knock them down. Its all random.
