I saw the game button image in the Unreleased thread, but I've never played the actual game. It takes a big long to play though, since it's all fancy spinning, turning around and whatnot after each guess. Never was one for puzzles, however.

I'm puzzled.
I played until it awarded me a 200 point bonus and ended the game.
I had assumed that you got to play unlimited codes (like codebreakers), but apparently not. I gather you only get to play a set number of codes and however many points you get is it. Too bad, although I suppose it does keep me from feeling that I ought to play for hours on end trying to get a pretty trophy.
I guess this will proably replace Codebreakers. It's too bad: I never played Codebreakers because I didn't like the fact you couldn't tell what your score was until you ended the game, so you couldn't easily play to 1000 Neopoints and then quit -- you just had to guess. I probably won't play this because the silly spinning animation makes it too time-consuming to be worth the payout.
Pity, since a Mastermind game with a decent payout would be cool. I like Mastermind.

-.- This game is confusing...amusing yet confusing

Ok, I've got some tips for winning. First off, submit the first thing you're given as soon as possible. Time doesn't count down during the animation, so you get a free guess. If you get any green dots, go on to step two. If not, go for all black, then all blue, and so on.
Once you get at least one green dot from a full color, then keep as many of the things that color as you got green dots. So if all white gave you two green dots, you make two of them white, and keep checking the rest of the colors with the other two. The object now is to get more colored dots than you had before, that's how you tell if you found another color to use. You also want to move the colors you know are good around so you get green dots. Once you get all four dots colored in, move to step 3.
Work on re-arranging the circles so you get all the dots green. During step 2, you might have found out where some of them belong. This is why you do step 2 the way you do, you're doing a part of this step while you're finding all the colors.
The color order is: White, black, blue, red, orange, purple.
Orange and purple do not appear until later.

I wish there was a pause button. I don't think it is very good that the game is timed and it doesn't matter how many goes you have. .... I'm a bit slow

The neopoints you receive from the game are pretty low.. only 50 Np for 100 points

With a top score of around 1800 no-one is getting the full max of 1000 NP for this game.

We probably find that the Neopets team will increase this.

It's BIGGER, Longer, and more annoying that Codebreakers..... It's got to be Time Tunnel !
I simply don't like what they've done with this. All the animations just make this game slow on my computer so I have to click on another browser, and then forget to click back so there goes my bonus.
I think I got about 800 odd on this (including the 200 bonus at the end) Woe is me and this game is horrible !

Goh! I liked codebreakers better where you could go on and on and on and on on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and never stop!
Now you have to stop when you get through the portal or whatever.
Slack.

I beat the game on the first try, it was quite satisfying but the payout is a little too low. The music is haunting but has a calming effect on me.
I can see why a pause button cannot be incoporated, you can use it to stop the time while mulling over the code.

Yes that would make it too easy but a pause button to pause before you start the next code. Or just simply a start button!

My first time playing, I got just over 1,500 points. I haven't played since.

It's become a game I play every day. I've never gotten more than 1600 points, but it is fun to work out the strategy. I turn off the music though.
A tip that someone new to the game might like is that if you get a green dot first thing and the rest white. Then leave the first circle white and make the rest brown. If there is still just one dot but it is now orange, you know that the white is not the first circle, and that there are no brown circles.
So next time put the blue in the first circle, leave the second white and put in two more blues.

The music is strangely weird for me. And yes, it's become a game I play every day too, because guessing game like that is fun for me.
