* New Game - In Neverending Boss Battle it is up to you to try to stop Dr Sloth's latest attack on Neopia! Are you up to the challenge?
* As some of you may have heard something rather exciting has happened with the ownership of Neopets. As of Monday 20th June, Neopets is now owned by Viacom. How will this affect the site you ask? Actually not at all. Neopets will still be run by the same people, the news will still be updated as normal and no changes with how Neopets works are planned. Don't worry, its a good thing
* Summer officially begins today. Why not get your Neopet prepared for all kinds of fun and games with some of these new Toys?
* This weekend if you pop by a Limited Too store, you may see one of these extra special Plushie Kougra Plushies. These are limited edition, so get yours while you can!
* The latest Site Spotlight award is shared by oxeegen and Flamincoo for their web page - Coconutty Site!.
* Nova_rising_ has just won this week's Faerie Caves Spotlight award for their level - Faerie Conundrum.
* If you are going on holiday, or maybe you are on holiday in an internet cafe right now, why not send a friend one of these Summery Postcards?

and if they really do have some spare time, its perfect for neoschools... even though ironicly its summer.

Hmm, well I would like to at least see which pet won myself. I almost think they've forgotten about it!
The random contest was extended for a week because alot of people weren't able to get their entries submitted (ghost in the machine?)
I'm guessing the news was really early so they'd have a chance to make the Viacom announcement, what with all the rumors and OMG!!!11! that are on the boards.
Crew, I am loving that plushie. Unfortunately, I never got the baby kougra plushie ... NO limited too stores around here, it would be a 2 hour bus ride to get to the nearest one. And since I currently have a knee injury that's keeping me pretty much housebound, I don't think I'll be getting this one or the baby kougra anytime soon.
