world challenge improvements

I don't know if any one noticed but the world challenges were down for a while today to make some small inprovements. Now you can win a map piece for getting the highest score in an hour, you only have to enter once - not every time you play a game and your score doesn't get deleted if you send it again before it goes through if that makes any sense. Has anyone else noticed any more changes?

It also costs 100np to enter now.

By the way, is the World Challenges page linked from anywhere except the News page?!

AND they took off MY GAME. Escape from meridell castle. I own that game. Literally. I can play for 20 minutes at any given time and own a trophy.... not kidding. and THEY TOOK IT OFF!!

So now, I only have to play once to have a chance at that map piece? Awesome, the idea of playing a single game over and over for a whole hour would just get me bored.

I have a couple of question though, firstly I have the link to the world challenge place but is it actually listed anywhere on the site?

Also, can you only play one game in an hour, eg if I try game A I can not go on and try game B in the same hour? I'm still a little confused :oops:

Ugh, even though I click "enter this challenge" and say yes, it takes my np but does not actually enter me in the challenge.Quite annoying considering that this is the first time I've actually had a whole hour free to play games.

With Snowmuncher my scores aren't accepted even though I am supposedly in the competition.

With Meepit Juice Break it took 200 or 300 nps from me and I am NOT part of the challenge.

I think most of their improvements were disimprovements. I have been stuck in space since last night in the evil fuzzles game. It will not send my scores and I cannot play any of the other challange games. It says I am still enrolled in the Evil Fuzzels beyond the stars

I'm glad I got my full puzzle when I did or I would probly never get one.

Ugh... Okay, this is what seems to be happening:

It will record scores up to the 3 alloted plays a day for NP, but after that, it won't score you anymore. This seems to be confirmed by the fact that everyone on the DoMII scoreboard has scores totalling three, including myself.

I hope they fix this...

EDIT: A few people have more than this now, but it's still DRASTICALLY less than what a "normal" round of this game would be (10 sends/hr.). I wonder what's wrong

I guess it's only on the games that are able to be competed in. It stinks that they've taken some games away.

Also, the raised 100np entry fee is for the WHOLE hour. You don't have to keep paying.

For some reason, it's not fixed for me yet. I still was only able to send 3 scores the whole day, and didn't realize it until I had wasted time playing 2 more rounds of my game, only to see that the scores weren't posted. It's really rather irksome.

I think they just don't like you

This irked me a bit too. I had a pretty nice score for my 4th send, and I was ready to gain another rank on the h2h chart... then I see it wouldn't accept the score. *grr* Not cool. I was close too. Honestly...
