Getting an account unfrozen?

Well, I have a bit of a different situation here. I used to play this game a few years back, and I think it's been around two years now since my account was frozen. Here's the problem - I was banned for scamming. Not normal scamming mind you, but I was banned for scamming myself. Atleast that was the only explanation I have ever received. I never did anything against the rules. I've tried a few ban appeal things, but I never received an answer from them. It would be pretty fun to come back to this game, but does anyone have an idea how I could get my account back? Or am I hopless?

I hate to be doom and gloom but I think your chances are next to nothing--because of the time that has gone by since the freezing. I have seen a lot of people post on PPT that they couldn't get their accounts back after a year--that Neopets specifically said that too much time had elapsed. After a certain amount of time, accounts are completely deleted and those account names are then available to be used by new people.

Have you looked up your old username to see if it is even still around?

Well when I search for the account, no results come up. But I think that's normal with frozen accounts. I've tried logging in and it still shows one of my pets, and then says my account has been frozen. I tried searching for my plushie draik too, and it's still there. It says I'm the owner. So I'm hopefull that it's still there.

I found on one of the Neopet-sites that even if your account is deleted, neither the username nor the petnames will be availible to use again. So, even if they delete your account, you can never use the same username.

Me and my friend are trying to unfreeze her account. Only thing I can think is to send a report.

I'm trying to figure out how you scammed yourself. XD

Actually, that is not true. In Spring, 2004, a whole bunch of accounts were deleted and the names were made available. I know, cause I have an account with one of those names. And, know that it was a "recycled" account because when I got it there were a bunch of old neomails on it. I know of many others here on PPT who also got "recycled" account and/or pet names.
