I'd love to get rid of it.
Just now I got one that said:
I've played the game before, and I know that it is free for 30days, then you must pay annually to play.
But the thing that really bugs me is the wording - a decent online community. What are they trying to say?

Maybe saying that Neopets is only for kids and not older people. Funny how it was advertised on Neo but isn't that just because the google thing automatically searches the titles for Neopets?

Reading up on it, I realise that there's almost zero chance of being able to block it.
When you sign up to Google Adsense, they give you a piece of HTML code that you encode into your webpages, in order to dodge any adblockers

It's doable -- I block adsense ads (ppt's layout looks weird without them, though).

Find a site that has the Adsense embedded in an Iframe, then you can block it there and it should never show up again. Can't think of anywhere that has it like that off-hand though.

These ads are getting out of hand. Once someone saw an ad for a site that featured... well, you don't need to know.

I hate to say it, but Neopets does suck now. They've gone to the little kids. They're making everything too..'cute'. Neopets /really/ bores me now a days.

I don't think Neopets "sucks". Nor do I really feel that they're overly going to little kids. If they were geared solely to little kids, I don't see why so many adults would still be playing.
Perhaps you have simply played the site too long, and too hard. People get bored of games all the time, I see no reason why Neopets should be any different.

I agree with Inrun. I really don't see Darigan, mutant, etc as cute colors. :O

only mutant/darigan pets that were drawn a LONG time ago arent cute... for example, the mutant blumaroo.... very ugly.... while it may look better with a revamp, that would include new coloring method, thick borders, and much, much cuter eyes. Wether its mutant or not, it will have the new cute cartoony style about it. Thats why lately, all the neopets ARE cute.... whether they are cute cute or they are ugly in a cute way.
