Info and Rules:
Have you ever looked at your thumb and said aloud, "Wow... this would make a really good painting utensil," at which point everyone around you looked at you funny? If so, you're pretty weird. Actually, you're really weird. We like you.
This week we want you to use that talented thumb and make a Neopets Thumbprint Painting. (We're pretty sure these exist. If not... patent pending.) Here are the steps required to make one of these masterpieces:
1) (Legally) acquire an ink pad (like one used for rubber stamps... non-toxic of course!)
2) Stick your thumb in it (we've been told toes are also fine) to get it good and inked
3) Press it onto a piece a paper
4) Repeat until you have something (at least vaguely) Neopet-like.
Then take a picture of your art and submit it using the now-famous Neopets Random Contest form below. As always, some rules:
I) When taking the picture of your art, please include your inked-up thumb/toe in the photo somewhere to insure you indeed used it to paint. (Preferrably thumbs please... we really don't want pictures of your foot. And we can't accept anything with your face in it says Lawyerbot.)
II) This must be done on real paper with real thumbs and real ink. Nothing digital and NO other writing/drawing/painting/spelunking intruments!
III) We're more interested in how you turned thumb prints into Neopets characters than how realistic or fancy your picture is. So get creative!
IV) Eat Snacky Smores.
Also, we'd like to make it clear that Lawyerbot does not actually judge the random contests. He's just here to insure that the things we do don't break any laws... or something. So you can stop sucking up to him in your entries now. Sheesh.
Lawyerbot returns from Cornell and says:
- Make sure your parents know what you're doing and are around to supervise!
- Neopets is not responsible for any groundings due to ink spillage.
- I accept bribes.

Anyway, I had fun doing it at least.

Maybe I'm just paranoid.
