Meerca Chase II - Tail Disappears??

I was playing Meerca Chase II today, as my daily game rounds, and something like this has never happened to me: during my second play, I got my first negg... it began building my tail, as expected, but then after one moment (before the second negg popped up) it... whittled away. It literally flew away from my Meerca and off the screen. And so I got the second negg, but I had no tail.

I was able to play the full game before I hit a red negg without a tail. Is this a glitch or something? Has this happened to anyone else?

That usually happens when my score gets higher, it flies off, or holes appear where parts of the tail should be.

Ohh, I've never had the tail disappear for real! I have had the very annoying tail starts to separate so some of the bits are invisible (but there if you let the meerca run into it). Very distracting! For me it doesn't matter the score, I've had that happen at 100 points and at 400 points.

I also had it just fly off and hit the 'wall', thus ending my game

It happened to me once when my tail got very long... I was so happy that i bumped into the red negg
