They're just colectable cards. there used to be some kind of game planned involving battling the cards and such, but neo scrapped it. i believe what the obelisk says explains it and i believe that the obelisk can be obtained through the wheel of mediocrity

so why are some cards more expensive than others? whats the difference between each card? btw, what is the obelisk about? i dun get what u mean, and what does a card mean if it is unique?

You used to be able to put multiples of the same card in your deck. You no longer can. That is what Unique means. Some cards are much rarer than others. Look at the colored guide at the link you posted to have it explained.

The obelisk? Well, after over 4 years of playing, I have never landed on obelisk.
