Lost Desert Items

Forgive me if this is in the wrong place, I inadvertantly posted it on the Help board first...

What do you think will happen to prices of Lost Desert items? How about Lost Desert Meds? I'm guessing if there is a war, the prices of the Meds will skyrocket! Almost guaranteed to get some kind of disease that can only be cured with one of these... dontcha think?

From what I know, the cures work for diseases that can already be cured by medicine from the Neopia Central Pharmacy...

So I doubt such an investment is worthwhile

Also I don't think any of the Lost Desert Medicines actually work. TNT forgot to activate them. Somebody brought this to their attention in a semi recent editorial and they said they would fix them, but I don't know that they ever got around to it.

However most of those Medicines were Support Quest items during the last war. If there is a Supporter featuring during this plot then they may very well be again. It would certainly make sense in relation to the Lost Desert theme if they were. Most of them sold for around 50 - 70K during the Curse of Maraqua and I spent millions buying them at those price. Just to be on the safe side I have been hoarding them for the last couple of months this time around.
