Continue with the plot discussion here :)

Previous thread: http://www.pinkpt.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=20444

- The plot
- The Fortune Teller
- The Temple of One-Thousand Tombs

Here is an example of a map: http://tim.arlott.com/jas/tombmap.jpg
It is Jasujo's map that she made using the grid method posted by Cerise. Of course, there are many methods, this is just one to give you an idea.

Known Facts:

Eveyone's tomb, doors, and phrases are different.

Your tomb is the same to you each time you enter it.

All passages seem to be two way. You should be able to return to the room you came from. The door may not be in the same position, but one of the doors will return you.

There are three library doors and one statue room in each tomb. In the libraries, you can read a scroll, but the effects haven't been found yet. The statue asks for a prophecy, but the correct one hasn't been found yet.

Library doors

There are 85 rooms, 5 doors in each room, and a total of around 425 doors.

If you read a scroll, you can't enter for 12 hours. If you get caught in a trap, you can't enter for 1-3 hours and your pet may temporarily be turned to a pile of sand.

There are 6 door colors and 4 door shapes. The riddles will only tell you the color and shape of the door you need.

Shapes:
A humble portal of stone (rectangle) [just a regular old door]
Mouth of the river (triangle) [think about it ... the place where a river starts will look like a triangle ... because it starts flowing out]
The aspect of a star (pentagon) [5 sides to a standard star]
Window into the soul (oval) [your eyes are ovalish]

Colors:
Blinding radiance of the sun (yellow) [the sun]
Thunderous clouds obscuring the sky (black) [makes it dark]
The waking dawn on the dunes (red) [at dawn, thing all look red]
Banks of the mighty river (green) [everything is green on the banks]
Kingdom of the lightgiver (blue) [the sky is the sun's (lightgiver's) kingdom ... and it is blue]
Bright guardian of the night (silver) [The moon is sort of silverish]

The combination does not tell you which symbol you need, but does limit your search to 12 possible doors to find your statue in.

After you find the Nuria faerie statue and go back to your library and read the scroll with the symbol that was on the statue's base, your pet now understands it. Nothing else has been seen to come of this as of yet, though.

The fortune teller's phrase has changed to: "I see ancient pharaohs laid at rest." You supposedly need to visit her and see this before moving on.

Then if you play a game of Pyramids, at the end you should see a parchment on the bottom of your screen. This looks to be a clue to rooms as each column has a number, color, symbol, and shape.

If you go to one of the rooms your parchment describes, you will get an RE which gives you a dirty stone piece. Take that to the toy repair shop and you get a piece on your tablet. If you then go to the fortune teller, her phrase is changed:

"So... you've returned," she says. "Something remarkable is happening. I am receiving many images in my crystal ball, images of strange, distant places..."

"...yet I can't make out these images just now. Perhaps something will appear soon. You may view the Mysterious Tablet if you wish."

A while after the first piece of your tablet is filled in, the fortune teller changes to this clue: "I see debris on a frigid battlefield."

That leads you to play a game of Snow Wars, after which you should find your second parchment.

I had missed this part totally.

Just an idea ... but ...
perhaps all *this* parchment is good for is getting the very *first* piece.

We have to wait for the images in the fortune teller's crystal ball get clearer before we can find out how to get the second piece. It might point us somewhere else ... and we have to figure it out.

Whoot! Got my parchment (you don't have to have found the statue first, just visit the updated fortune teller) and my first room is one I've mapped.

I'm locked out from my unsuccessful attempt to find my state, though, so no getting my piece until tomorrow...

i don't think the dots correspond to the placement. i got my first piece , it was a cup, and it went into the 3rd row, 3rd column

I just went to the first door on my parchment (the one with only one dot) and I got a piece. So I went to the toy repair guy to have it fixed. He started coughing and coughing and I kept patting him on the back and finally he left. When he finally came back and gave me a pile of sludge and said that was the best he could do. Now what? I don't know if he stoled my peice or if it realy turned into sludge. And now am I missing a piece or can I go back to the room and get it back.

Has this happened to anyone else?

What toy repair shop do you take it to? Isn't there only one on top of the mountain?

Help!!!!!!

How weird. Interesting, though ...

What steps had you done before that point?

I did just what everyone else did 1. Visited the fourtune teller, 2. looked at my tablet, 3. went to the temple, 4. took note of my riddle, 5. maped my palace, 6. fond my statue, 7. Read the appropriate scroll and understood, 8. whent back to the fourtune teller she said different thing, 9. played pyrimids, 10 got my parchment, 11 rest is mentioned above.

My riddle led me to believe that I was looking for a black rectangular door, yet there's none on the parchment. What exactly am I supposed to be looking for then? I thought I understood!

someone had it replaced with a t shirt

Has anyone else been unable to have their tablet piece repaired? This is the first time I'v been to donny's, and he replaced it with a t-shirt so now I have to go get the piece again. and am I supposed to pat his on the back when he coughs to get it repaired?

O wait i went back to the temple and it came up straight away! yay

maybe u can try going back to the temple and see if it restores ??

You need to fix your link so we can see what you're talking about. :)

oooh I think I might've found somthing, maybie ^-^'! I found the fire faerie statue, and I put in the riddle from the front of the temple of 1000 tombs and now the fortune teller is saying something different.

I've been expecting you.

"So... you've returned," she says. "Something remarkable is happening. I am receiving many images in my crystal ball, images of strange, distant places..."

"I see ancient pharaohs laid at rest."

What could that mean? The fortune teller gazes at you expectantly. The Mysterious Tablet sits quietly on a table.

The riddle at the door leads you to your Fearie statue. The stuff on the parchment leads you to your tablet peices

Guess I'm still on for one more post, eh.

Read the initial post ... it will explain what you've found.

The riddle narrows down the places you have to look for the faerie statue, the parchment tells you where the pieces of the tablet can be found

The black rectangular door that you're saying corresponds with your riddle will lead you to your faerie statue. You'll have to try every black rectangular door until you find the right one. No one has figured out an easier way to find your specific door.

The parchment you received from playing Pyramids will lead you to at least one room where you can find a tablet piece. I hope that helps!
