trading post: please explain?

But why, all of a sudden, do people write "FREEEEE!" in their wishlist on the trading post? Really, what do they mean? I can't see how anyone would be giving away half the things people write-off as "free", so it doesn't make sense, so I'd love to know what "free" really means in the TP

But until we get a better explanation, let us just assume that they put "free!" there for fun and somehow find it entertaining to reject offer after offer.
