EDIT: SOLUTION FOUND.
Another clickable... seemed it wasn't activated for a few hours, for all you need to do is look up a mutant bruce.

It's not feeding your Bruce a Brucicle, OR feeding a mutant pet a brucicle.. twas worth a shot.

I would suggest Using a Bruse Transmog potion, but that would cause a person to get two avatars (Mutant JubJub) at the same time.

I think it might be using the mutant bruce shopkeeper, but it isn't updated to the shopkeeper page yet.

What has been done by someone with a mutant bruce:
feeding mutant bruces mutant food
reading them books
playing with toys with the word "friend" in them
typing to it's petpet, Wanna Be Friends/ I want to be your friend
adding someone to their neofriend's list.
in two player battles, there is the option of doing a friendly battle.
have a mutant bruce as your active pet, and view another mutant bruce's lookup
My suggestions:
1. have a mutant bruce as an active pet and view "Benny" in the Gallery of Evil, here: http://www.neopets.com/evil/showcreature.phtml?pos=24
2. have a mutant bruce as an active pet and view the new bruce collectable card. it's a pretty little girl bruce, here:
