Second "move or lose" Neomail

Sat Dec 10, 2005 2:05 pm

What the heck?!?!!?!?

My opponent refuses to move, so I sent a "move or lose" nmail, and now I have to send a second one.

So that will be 48 hours, with not 1 piece being moved in our Monthly Tournament.

This must be a new thing, as I played 2 months ago and I only needed to send one neomail.

That makes getting a trophy really easy though :P

From what I've known since I've been playing for a while, it's been like that for more than two months o_O

I entered in 2 games - Geos and Armada.

I had moved 1 piece in Armada, and consequently have now won this game by default.

It seems that because no moves have been made at all in Geos, that my opponent is given a 2nd chance to move.

That seems to be the only logic behind the second "move or lose" nmail option.

I really do hate winning like this. Makes me wonder why people enter the tournies if they have no intention of playing. o_O

Not the case for me. For geos, no pieces were moved, and only 1 move it or lose it neomail was required. However, for my kacheekers, about 5 pieces were moved, before I had to send 2 move it or lose it neomails to win.

 Well, that blows my theory out of the water. Strange, very strange.

I wish TNT would fix up the Tournaments. The current system just isn't working properly.

I am having a problem conceding games (ok, I suck at Kacheekers) and for the second month now the game is still there after I have conceded because I have no more moves left.

Yes, ironically enough, it seems like the only way to proceed to the next tier of the current kacheekers tournament is to not play and get a "move or lose" win.

With all this hassle for a simple game, it is no wonder why I don't play tournament games.

I think it has to do with the level of the opponents. One of my games, with a level 1 opponent only required one neomail, but my other game, with a level 6 opponent, gave me the option to send two.

Here's my fun one. The third game of my armada tournament I lost by conceding (I had missed our scheduled appointment to complete the game, and gave my opponent the game because it seemed unfair to continue), and then I received a neomail telling me about my fourth game.

I thought you were removed if you lost. Silly, silly thing.
