New SDB interface?

I rarely check and voila it has a new interface now... am I outdated or what?

Umm, yes you are a little behind. It has been like that for about a month.

Hmm I don't think it's already 1 month, since last time I checked is not more than one week and it's still the old interface

Mine has been how it is for about a month too... I don't see any recent changes.

The change to the new interface actually corresponded to the announcement of the end of the plot. It was in the news for Nov. 29th.
I miss the "glitch" that allowed us to use the SDB to find out how many existing Neopian items matched the search criteria, allowing you to narrow down a search for unreleased items. (Ex. The early discovery of the 4 useless crystals and the mysterious "hovering four dimensional pyramid.")
The Safety Deposit Box has been updated! It should now be easier to navigate with less clutter, and searching has been given a bit of a speed boost.
