Illusens Quest

If you keep the Illusens Quest page open without refreshing it, does the timer still go down?

I know there was a period ages ago when it wouldn't, but I don't know it was fixed or not.

I'm wondering cos I'm attempting the quests again, and I'm not far from lvl35 now

The Magic 8-Ball says 'All signs point to yes'...

When I do a job at the Employment Agency, I never close the initial window (with the base time rated, as well as 'or you can click here to return all the items and complete the job), but I've still had instances (well, one, actually) when I was out of time and the window still displayed time left. So I would think it works the same for Illusen.

There used to be a mini-glitch where you could still complete the quest if you had the original page open, but they've since fixed it. So if you're on Level 35, it's safer to just get it within the time limit.

Well, I won't be attempting it until next weekend anyway, so I need to gather a few people together who can help, and I've heard the easiest way to do that is to ask on the quests neoboard for people to help, so they're online ready to accept the trade

I'm getting really close to mine too. Exactly what rarity are the items she asks for in quest 35, and what price range can I expect?

She asks for a r99, so any items in that range can be expected. Most times, it'll be an item over 100k, so expect to be looking on the TP for the item

Could it be any R99, because some of those cost millions of NP. The quests are supposed get progressively harder, but I don't think they could get any harder than that.

Quest 35 asks for r98-99 items. After that, there's a point where she will only ask for r99 items, but they can't get more difficult than r99, obviously - but the difficulty of winning isn't by the price of the item, it's if you're lucky enough to find a seller of the item with the limited time you're allowed.

What I meant was, there are some R99s that cost millions-- like Rainbow Scorchstone, Thyora's Tear, stuff like that. Is there any guarantee that I won't be asked for one of those?

I believe that the item you're asked for is completely random, so if you're asked for a 10million np item, then you're very unlucky but it can happen

What NST during the weekdays would be a good time to do her quest? When are the good players in with all the goods?

Sat Jan 21, 2006 7:36 am

I've never been asked for a battledome item before, mostly books and stuff. Now wouldn't be a great time to start. :(

I was about to ask that too... Also, am I more likely to get help here or on the Neoboards?

Try the weekend, about 6pm NST? I'm really not sure, but weekends are your best bet.

I also suggest creating a couple of boards on the Neoboards, before you do the quest, to give people notice.

Wow, 6pm NST, about 10am. Not bad timing. Thanks for the info. Just want to ask if the thing is above 800K and thus not able to trade it, what do I do?

Tade some items with the trade to make it up to the price.

But if the item is over 700k, its not worth doing it. The Honey potion is only 700k
