Question about pets that don't like their petpets.

So I just spent a ridiculous amount of np on a hasee for my neopet, you'd think she'd be thrilled. Oh no. I got an 'Ew, get that Hasee away from me!'. Seriously.

So I am way more fond of the hasee than I am of my pet right now and would get replace her except for that fact that I love my pet's name. Although, I would be willing to change her species, gender, and color. Do these things affect whether or not pets like their petpets? Or what if I change the hasee's color? Would she be so terrified of a Maraquan hasee?

If this just depends on her personality, I am going to be way mad. I did not sign up for such a picky neopet.

Change your language, give the petpet to your pet, then change your language back.

The only thing that determines whether or not your pet likes a particular petpet is the number of letters in their name. If it matches the number of letters in the name of the petpet, they reject it.

Just as a note, when I did that to get one of my pets to accept a slorg, I did not get the avatar when the slorg was sufficiently aged. I had to age the slorg on a pet that would accept it normally. I'm not sure if anyone else has run into this, but I thought I'd mention it.

Hmm, did you try changing the language again to get the av? :p

You could paint the petpet a different color so the number of letters in its name changes Hope this helps

Yup that's what you should do, attach the hasee on a different pet, paint it, and then give it back to the picky pet
