too much of a step up from tekkitu to meecra bros.?

Wed Jul 14, 2004 9:00 pm

I mean I remember when I beat the cave chia for DON. It was so easy. Then I tried to beat meuka. MAN was that a big step up. Well, I recently beat tekkitu the witch doctor and then I went and tried to beat the meecra bros. I couldn't survive a single round! They did over 200 damage. The most that tekkitu could do was 80 and that was VERY rare. I think that the meecra bros. are too much of a step up in difficulty! Anyone else agree?

Yup... I could beat all the other DON challengers without any challenge, but I can hardly surive two rounds with the Meerca Henchman.

Well, my pet isn't that strong (just started battling a few weeks ago), so that might be why.

if you think that meerca henchman does alot of damage, then you should try mootix warrior! I actually do think that it's kind of a big step. and to think that I used to like meercas. :(

I hate them with a vengeance. 5 fights, and the closest I came was fight #4, where I got them down to 39 hp before they beat me. And it was the only fight where I actually managed to freeze them! (Using Fiery Gaze)

Fight 5:

Round 1 - I do something like 22 hp damage, they do 57 hp of damage to me (I was defending, or it would've been 90-something damage, most likely)
Round 2 - Don't remember how much damage I did, but I got frozen and took a lot of damage.
Round 3 - I get frozen and take a lot of damage.
Round 4 - I'm now at 0 hp. And frozen yet again.

Its not fair that battledome opponents can use healing and freezing items multiple times, but players can't. I could understand it if they were war opponents, but NOT regular 1-player battledome opponents.

:(

If I had a surefire freezing item, I would've won fight #3, but I'm using a Rainbow Frost Cannon (had a Snowglobe Staff equipped for the first 2 fights, but it gave me a yellow snowball both times I used it in the first fight, and broke when I tried to use it in the second).

Well, I guess now it's not that big of a step if you have the 85 boost. lol

I just got the 85 boost, and beat them easily! So if you guys don't have that boost, just keep training and they will be easier.

well, I have 124 HP and I haven't survived 1 ROUND yet! I could have all of the str. in the world and it wouldn't make a difference if I couldn't survive one round!

.... If you think that's a big step... the Giant Ghostkerchief is a monstrous step...

Actually, the strength does make a difference. I only have 127 HP, and I have the 85 strength boost, and they were incredibly easy. Do you have an H4K helmet?

I am having the hardest time being them too. My problem is not strength boost, it is the weapons that I have.

no. My weapons are just to weak. I think that I will just have to go for the one-use route. I hate having a slow PC!
