can keep a watch on them to see if anything illigal is going on. We
like to keep organized. Our neomail at neopets.com is down for
maintainance,
it has a virus. So we are forced to take action on our regular e-mail
address. We do not know how long our neomail will be down for, so you
can
respond to this address and we will contact you again when it is up and
running. If you do not respond to this warning, we will have reason to
believe that you are cheating neopets and we will have to take action.

It's a scam email from a yahoo email addy. They spelt illegal wrong XDDD


But how did they get my email addy and KNOW I was on neopets O_o

Its obviously a spy on ppt

Let's just give them fake Account and Passwords.....preferably something with as much swearwords that will fit. *cough*

Could it be a friend perhaps? Maybe not. I'm just confused as you, nobody at
Neopets knows my email... Other than TNT and some of my friends... So, I'm
not sure how they got yours. Have you ever told your e-mail address to someone in Neopets?

Edit: Well, I haven't got it, and I think my e-mail isn't in my profile... Nope.

I think whoever said it was right, a spy on Pink Poogle Toy Forums, because you can see people's e-mails here...and well know they go to Neopets...

I got hit by a spy from here once, who added me to msn and struck up a conversation as an attempt to find out the answers to my secret questions for my hotmail account. Little did he know, that wasn't even my neopets email account.

I wish people wouldn't abuse us like that :/

Shifty and jelly of flight, both of you have your email addresses for MSN messenger listed in your PPT look up. My guess is that there is someone looking up PPT member's emails and trying to scam them. I seem to recall something like this happening a few months back. I believe that is why our Neopet user names are no longer listed on our PPT lookups.

My suggestion is that you remove all info related to anything outside of PPT from your user lookup and block this person's email address.

I would definately suggest doing what morningstar said, I usually block anyone that isn't on my address list from e-mail me. Quite a pain if someone changes their e-mail address, LOL!
