Trading post would be stupid to offer, unless you're gonna try and make some sales pitch like, "Can you beat an offer of X np?"

Auctions would be like cheating, cuz you could bid up your item, but if people noticed, they'd stop bidding, and you wouldn't sell it.

you can buy frm your own shop though! Dont know why though if you aren't allowed to bid on your own auctions or trade with yourself

I don't see how making an offer on your own trade could be used as advertising. I mean, is there a way to view all the offers on a lot you're offering on? That would be interesting... I'm always leary of people claiming to have an offer of ??? they want you to beat. No different than a wishlist IMHO. But it would be nice to see if they really DO have any offers!
I had no idea you could buy from your own shop! Why would you want to do that? The only effect I can see it having is to put nps into your till ???
