On the prefrences page it says at the bottom Flash Game Challenges options....

Ah, this is a new beta feature where you can challenge another person on Neopets to a 1:1 duel of your scores. The moment your opponent accepts, the next score that each of you submit in that game will be logged. Which ever person gets the higher score, will be declared the winner!
Nothing special out of it yet, but It'll probably coming soon
