Draik Day theory about making draiks easier to get...

In Week 155 of the Neopian Times, Donna wrote this in the Editorial Section:

On Draik Day will you make more Draiks to create? - Ebuhs

Draiks are slightly different to normal Neopets. You don't actually create them, you need to hatch a Draik Egg. We will more than likely make Draik Eggs temporarily easier to get hold of though.

Somebody also pointed out the new Draik Day Caption Contest on the image server...




And this is only a theory, but the caption contest could have a solution to getting more draiks out there. Maybe the caption contest just has "Draik day presents" but maybe the "presents" in the caption contest are a new item to be released on draik day!

Im thinking, maybe they will release an item called "Draik Mystery Box" or something... it would be expensive... like... 80,000 nps... but you would "open" it when you play with it *Like christmas stockings, party bags, booster packs, etc* and a random draik item comes out... and they will ONLY be sold on draik day... *they said a temporary way to get them easier*... that would be an interesting way to give out draiks, because somebody could get a MP or a draik egg... but those would be more rare. You are more likely to get a plushie or book or something, but theres the chance that you could get a draik-making item! I just thought it was an interesting theory....

Cool! I hope something like that happens, not because I want a Draik, because I want to sell the Eggs and MP's for NP!

By the look of the CC there's a good chance that that's exactly what will happen. Which reminds me if I should start trying to sell my draik egg before the price goes down...

well, i dont think prices are going to rise, so i think your best bet would be to sell it whenever you can and get all those Np's! But this isnt a Shop/trading thread, so i wont go on more about that...

I DO hope that if they do this, they make draik eggs and potions hard to get.... draiks are known for being cool rare dragons... and the more there are, the less cool they get... *hugs his draik* He'll be cool forever, wont he?? WONT HE?

I think it takes all the fun out of getting a cybunny. On my old account, I morphed mine at a hefty price and I loved it. On my new account I got one for free and got bored with it (and it's now a peophin thanks to the lab ray).

The spotted Quiggle sure looks down for only getting the Draik Pen. That's how I feel about neopets sometimes.....
