lab question

it has happened to me several times that the kab decreased my lab rats level to 1; but I've heard that once a pet reaches a certain level, it doesn't happen anymore. does anyone know if this is true, and what level the pet has to reach?
I'm thinking about training my lab rat to level 50, to get berserk, and I don't want to spend all those neopoints for nothing.

I think when your pet is level 250 and goes to the lab and then it's zapped to level 1.

I've heard that it will only be zapped down to level 1 if you have less than 10 levels or so.

In my personal experience, it has also seemed this way. I didn't get that zap until I was down to about 3 levels actually.

You'll be fine if you have a level 50 pet. However, if you continue to use use the lab, you should expect to lose a lot of levels anyway.

I was level 250 when I got zapped down back to level 1. I was sad. It was a long time ago.. but still It makes me sad, I worked hard on him, spend so much Neopoints.

the only thing that you will ever want to train in while you are using the lab ray is HP but you prolly won't be able to do that anyway because of your level.

the only thing that you will ever want to train in while you are using the lab ray is HP but you prolly won't be able to do that anyway because of your level.

Why would you want to train HP when you use the lab ray?
That's the one stat the lab ray does a good enough job training on it's own.
Personally I'd train to keep my other stats more even with the ones the lab ray tends to raise.
I too had heard that it wouldn't drop you to lvl one if you're above 10 -- when did you getd returned to lvl 1 eeevil? There were some serious lab glitches at one point weren't there?

I have a different question about the lab... Does anyone keep track of the different changes the lab gives? All the options it can pick from I mean.
