Do the Pro's outweigh the Cons?

I know this debate has been raised before, but I would likie to hear everyone's veiws on whether they ENJOY playing neopets anymore?
Personally, I rush through my dailies, not really looking at things, play some games and get annoyed at me score, got the to the boards and get annoyed at the silly people there, get annoyed that my guild doesn't have 5million members, get annoyed about...

Anyway. For you, do the Pro's of playing Neopets outweigh the cons? Are you happy more of the time you are annoyed?

The only thing I'm annoyed about... is the fact that Royal Paint Brushes cost so freakin' much!!!

...Otherwise, I'm good, seeing as I stay out of the Neoboards. Aaand my pets are pretty, which is why I stay. :3

im happy when i play neopets i have great friends in my guild i have a good pet for the bdome with good weapons so im happy

Hmmm..... do the pros outweigh the cons? I'm not sure. The main focus of neo is, you need something you enjoy, that would keep you on any site, regardless of whatever else is on there. Myself, I'm trying to complete a gallery. I don't spend much time there anymore. I had fun playing NQ2, I earned some nice money, and I enjoy the convaluted plot lines that neo frequently comes up with. Personally, there's actually not many cons for me on neo anymore, but there aren't many pros either. I enjoy trading, and I look forward to completing my almost-finished gallery. After that's done, I'll probably work on more trophies. Why? Because I like having a goal, and at the moment neo is the only place where I can have so many goals at once. It's different for everyone, of course, but if someone doesn't have something to work for, most of the time they'll quit.

I enjoy it a lot. I do have a hard time getting used to so many changes. I really had a hard time getting used to the Wiz search limit because I use it for so much info. It's annoying but then it gives me time to enjoy other parts of the site.

The one thing I enjoy the most are the pets. They're so much fun to train and play with. *giggle*

Do keep in mind that everything is free, so I dont think anybody should be complaining.... im not saying anybody is, but I dont like it when people get picky about a free virtual pet site... dont be too picky, as you really dont have any power... they could always... you know.... shut DOWN or something... which they have the right to do....then you can complain a little more.

Sure, some things make me mad.
But...
I just made a new account.
And i've been playing it daily. I've started working again towards some goals, and that makes me happy. I know it'll be ages before I reach them, and I don't mind that.
Glitches and such, normally don't happen to me... but they have, and i've been angry then. The gallerys made me mad too, and i've ranted and raged about it, but meh.
*shrugs*

It happens, and I go on.

I don't think this is about being picky, and I don't think it's complaining about the site. I think it's more, do you enjoy the site anymore, and if so, why? I don't think it's about neo, but rather a person's personal feelings about something that they were/are so involved in.

I have less compaints now since I upgraded to a 256kbps modem.

It's a wonder how much more np you start earning once you have a relatively fast connection speed.

I like restocking, collecting stuff, zapping my pets... I really like some of the flash games.. and solitaire. I kinda look forward to reading stuff like Really Confused in the NT. there are far worse ways to procrastinate that neopets.

but, you know, i can understand people might get sick of it, but why don't they quit and either give up entirely or go over to a different internet game, instead of whining persistently about how it's not as good as it was back in the day when the graphics sucked and the most sophisticated game was "guess the card"?

The only things I don't like are the glitches, the scammers, beggars, hackers (etc those kind of people) and....

...the rumour-spreaders on the neoboards...they alwaysget people started and inflate prices on items.

My answer? Certaintly. Only things that bug me are glitches and scammers/hackers. And the people who complain about "ENT" non stop.

What I don't like? My peculiarly horrible luck and TNT's occasional attempts to induce inflation instead of remedying it.

Yup. "Evil" Neopets Team. It bugs me beyond belief.
