TRading post glitch?

Thu Sep 16, 2004 9:39 am

I accepted an offer for my petpet paintbrush, but the money did not show up. :x Waiting for it to appear somehow.

It may take some time for them to process the transaction. How long have you waited?

More than 10minutes ..... :( luckily, i got a screenshot of the offer.
How long should i wait before i report?

Thanks

Sometimes it does take a long time, don't panic! Once I traded a mystery island paintbrush and it didn't appear in my account for like, an hour. That was scary!

Okie, It's not a trading post glitch. I accepted the wong offer. Sorry for the panic, but thanks everyone. Lost a great deal of money...

Oh no! What paintbrush was it! How much did you get in the end?!

That person was out to scam people, but it's my fault that i did not see clearly. I guess it happens alot in trading post. I want 165knps for the island petpet paintbrush, but the person offer 165nps.... Goes and change glasses.....

You must really have bad eyesight to miss out the three extra zeroes behind. Either that or you were in too much of a hurry to sell. :P

Not really, Qanda. Maruka could've just been tired or made a mistake. Everyone makes mistakes. I have fallen for a scam like that once before too--only it was in a shop. It's having fingers that move faster than your brain.

I am so sorry for you, Qanda. I hate people that do that. I get that scam alot--people offering the np amount without the "K" that is supposed to go with it.

You could always write the person to let them know how much their little scam hurt you and ask them if they have a conscience. Never know, the person might feel guilty and give it back. But, if not, at least you have gotten it off of your chest and told them off--using acceptable Neopets language, that is.

Yikes, that's horrible - you must have been hurrying or something - did the person discuss the offer with you in neomail?

Thu Sep 16, 2004 12:25 pm

Oh no :( I'm sorry you lost such a valuble item!

I hate it when epople do things like that, it's not fair :(

Thu Sep 16, 2004 12:30 pm

I just woke up, and was in a hurry, and clicked too fast, should have looked closer. The person did not mailed me to discuss the offer, but I did mail the person to say it's a mistake, but no reply. hahahahaha I'm much better now, oh, well, i can earn them back. :D

*hugs everyone*
