Switching Databases AGAIN?!

NOTE: If you've noticed your shop has gone missing this past weekend, not to worry. We're in the process of a database move that's taking longer than expected. Your shop is sitting happily in the old database waiting quietly for its turn. If your shop is one that seems to have disappeared, please don't create a new one. Your shop and all your items will return as soon as everything is done moving. Sorry for the wait!
Argh, just when I was supposed to buy some bread for the 'Toasty' Avatar.

maybe not all the shops, but ... again?! Geez, I thought this whole mess was done already. What's this, the third or fourth time people have gone through this one?

Those shops have been dead since the last big database move--sometime in mid summer when all of the shops were moved and many people lost all items in their shops (like featheralley and a lot of the people with really big shops).
You probably just didn't notice it until now because you hadn't looked for pyramibread before now. But, because I resell neggs and faeries, I see those same dead shops over and over every day--mostly they are on the "a" shopwiz line, but every so often I see them on the "g" and "b" lines.
And, my daughter has a shop on the "a" line and gets so frustrated because she can't sell things like light faeries, fire faeries, even cheap stuff like makeup, quiggle toys, and pyramibread--because Neo never cleared out those dead accounts and they all sit above her on the shop wiz line.
And, they are dead--because if you look those people up, you see that there is no place on their userlookup for "Last Spotted." My guess is that they are really old accounts that somehow got transferred over to the new database along with all of the active accounts.

I've noticed this for almost a week now. I figured that it was Neopets being lazy about fixing it. Care to send a boat load of bug reports on it?
I'm tempted to, because 1 out of 5 of the cheapest prices would always be a dead shop. And I was at that time, going for the packrat avatar.

I've sent in numerous bug reports about it--since I first saw them in mid-summer. And, nothing yet--it seems that TNT must have better things to do right now, eh? I just feel sorry for the people on the "a" line, mispricing their stuff because the lowest person on their line is a dead acccount and the price hasn't been that low in months.

its been like that for a long time, i confirm that. every time i search neopox pizzas, i just want to buy them for the cheap price of 250 or something, but guess what? it doesnt exist!

It really depends on what you are looking for. Try searching for a glamour negg, christmas tree negg, blue furry negg, bottled light faerie, bottle fire faerie and you will see what I mean.
