New armadillo neopet?

I heard somebody on the neoboards talking about how the new neopet is going to be an armadillo-like neopet called a Bori. Normally I'd dismiss such rumors seeing as it comes from the neoboards, but I've heard it being talked about several times. And after doing a search I've seen some help sites going along with it as well. And doing a further search I've seen it was confirmed by Felicia, editor of the neopian times.
So now my final question is, is this common knowledge, and if so, why hasn't anybody told me? Everybody's keeping secrets from me, I swear...

Well, it's not an armadillo, but I guess that's the closest thing to a real animal. It kinda looks like a dog with big pointy ears, black claws and a lion-like tail with a shell (resembling what an umpire wears) or something on it's back. Kinda like this, but without the gigantic shell or whatever

I've heard from the same reasonable sources about the new pet, but it seems as if something slipped out and they're shutting up about it. Even as going as far as getting rid of evidence!

So, who knows? It's quite possible there's maybe a new pet coming soon.

A new pet would be very cool! Though, it's strange that they come out with three new pets in one year, when they haven't done any for the two past years...

Maybe they're trying to make up for the lack of any new neopets in the last 2 years. Or maybe they're finally getting bored of drawing the same things all the time

Whats up with all these neopets with two syllable names that end in "i"? Ruki? Bori? Uni? Ixi? Pteri? Myncii? Kyrri? Lenny? Wocky? Eyrie? Well maybe I'm stretching it a bit too far with the last 3...

I heard about that too. It was supposed to be out this week I think. From what I heard. I've been checking neocolors and neopets but nothing is loading right now. I can't wait to see it, although it was described as being more doglike than anything.

ummm.... can you say Draik? Ixi? Yurble? Ruki? theyve released 4 or 5 neoepts in the last two years!

they should make a giraffe.. that would be way cooler lol but i wouldn't be complaining about another pet i didn't like ruki too much

Well draiks and ixis were created 2 years ago. Maybe they're planning on a 2-3 new neopets per 2 years quota or something O_o

sounda like the turmaculus lol, without the laziness and the black stuff. think about it

The Turmaculus looks more like a dinosaur than a dog, doesn't have pointy ears (those are horns!), doesn't have a lion-like tail nor a shell either.

I really think TNT is coming up with too many neopets... I would rather they spend more effort on increasing the weapons of the latest neopets, making them come in more colours, etc.

Bleh. I hope this new neopet, is better then the Ruki, it was a bore to me.

I wish they could focus on the older pets and other characters such as faeries, because alot of the images they have on trading cards, and other things look as if they had better images of the pets then the actually website does.
