On Yahoo email now when I want to send an email message. I had to enter in a Send Security Code.
This send security code is very similar to the type of security code that we are required to enter when signing in to Neopets.
Therefore, in order for Neopets to send email to yahoo email subscribers they will need to type in the send security code themselves.
Neopets won't like that send security code very much. Just as we weren't crazy about the security code for sigining into Neopets but had to accept.
Just wanted to let others now.
Thanks.

That's an interesting anti-spam thing. I can see why Neopets wouldn't like that, considering that much of their email is automated.
How does the code work when you're not using Yahoo mail though? Where do you enter it?

huh? I'm confused. I have yahoo and I have used it today and didn't see any security codes. I sent and recieved emails and never once saw a differance.

Maybe nascarfan means when you send to a Yahoo person... but that doesn't make sense. My dad sends me junk mail all the time (I've even seen him send it to me...), but he doesn't have to type in a code. We both use Yahoo, though...

I use Yahoo too, have for a long time, and I have never seen nor heard of any code.

how could that even be regulated or forced?

But one time today it has happened.
It appeared to be a major change with Yahoo email.
It might be that the sent security code is a security code that shows up at random. But the last time I had pets in the Neoldoge when the checked out I didn't get the auto-generated email in my regular or bulk email box folder.
Either that or maybe Yahoo got so many compalints about it. That maybe Yahoo has already removed it.

what? I just got through sending some mail to some friends who use yahoo and other email services and I didnt get any code.. just clicked send as usual. Must be something with your account. maybe you clicked secure or something

It could only appear on outgoing e-mails from your yahoo account (yahoo can't regulate the thousands of other mail servers). This means that when you want to send an e-mail from yahoo, you might need to type in the code. When you want to send an email to yahoo, you still do the same thing you always did.
There's absolutely no significance in this change for neopets or anyone else who sends mails to yahoo addresses. This could only affect yahoo subscribers who want to send mail from their yahoo account.
