Ice Paint Brush (Not another Bori topic.)

Yes, I know, there are a billion topics about the toolbar and the bori right now; This is merely to ask the general public of PPT whether or not they think this suggestion will be listened to, and if I could gain some bouyancy by havng someone here send similar suggestions. I am rather disappointed that TNT would just state directly that they would make the color of Ice exclusive to only one pet, and only if an offer is taken (which many simply do not have the technology to do) when so many other varieties of colors exist, from plain to weird to just plain weird. The (ironically ever-changing) Status Quo on Neopets is something we have come to love and to dread, and in this case, I am not for it at all for reasons stated in the following "Idea/Comment" sent to TNT.

Through the years, use Neopets users have borne witness to a plethora of colors, ranging from iridescent rainbows, all the primaries, clouds, stars, even snot, sponges, and jelly (And I'm sure dung is somewhere on The Neopets Team's "To Do" list.)- So why suddenly rule out the possibility of another color with potential now? Personally, I think it would be an awesome idea to have an ice paint brush; why not? Why limit the color to only the Bori? I'm sure that thousands (and perhaps a million or two ) of users on the site would agree with me. If it's not _too_ much trouble, do you think you could try it? Of course, this will probably be filed in the silver cylindrical cabinet, but it's still worth a shot.

While I'm on the "Ice" topic, I can't help but notice that you have several kinds of icy/wintry furniture, from tables to speakers, beds, and desks, but where are the SHELVES? I mean, with a name like "omniicyshelf", I'm stunned that I can purchase anything from an icy desk to a SPEAKER, but cannot buy a shelf! This just isn't fair! So please, if it wouldn't be _too_ much trouble, could you make an "Ice Shelf Unit" or something of the like? It would be a neat thing to have

Than why should there only be Coconut Jubjubs? Or Alien Aishas? Or MSP Poogles? I think it's ohkay to have a colour unique to one species only. Plus, I think the Frozen Bori has something to do with the plot (obviously, seeing as it deals with the Ice Caves)..I always had the impression that Hannah was going to come across a Frozen Bori. It's like the Coconut Jubjubs on Mystery Island...kind of.

...I'm talking in circles. In a nutshell, I'm all for there only being Frozen Boris.

...Okay. You're right. The second issue was a little personal (and might I add a bit strange...)

But if you think about it, there are other colors that are singly for one or two different pets. For example: Aishas are the only ones that can become Alien (The reason I am saying this is because the only way to get them is through the lab ray). Usuls can become Usuki, and Quiggles Quiguki, but nothing else can become anything close. I am sure there are other colors, but as of now, I do not know, and I'm too lazy to go look it up.

The more I think about it, the more insanely right you are about the Ice Shelves...

But, anyway, I think that you're partly right - but think about the Coconut Jubjub, Alien Aisia and stuff.

Wow...I wouldn't have thought to use some of those words if I was making the same suggestion.

Anyway, I agree with the shelves bit and what everyone said about the Boris. Except, to me they made it sound like you could only get it through that one offer and never again, so I hope that it'll still be obtainable through the Lab Ray/Fountain Faerie.

I think they already did the ice paint brush vefore, in the form of the very similar glass paint brush, but it did not receive a very enthusiastic response from neopians. :roll:

i dont see what's different about the ice bori to the fruit chias, and any of the other examples mentioned. IMO there's nothing wrong with it being exclusively for boris (the sponsorship thing is another matter altogether, but doesnt belong in this thred

I don't think it being exclusive to one pet is the problem.
However, being exclusive to people that sign up for a sponsor program is. THere are some people that are unable to use IE due to certain restrictions placed on their computer by their parents. I would think TNT would be more sensitive to this problem and realize who their primary demographic is.

Yeah, and it seems only people in certain countries can download the toolbar (even if you use the English version of the site). A consolation would be that those who sign up don't get a pb, they just get the option to create a ice bori, and so only people who really want the pet will sign up, instead of some greedy neopian looking to make a quick buck from selling the pb (no offense here, that includes me

).

And also it is very particular about which country you live in, I for one live in the UK and was unable to download the toolbar because of where I live. We are used to neopets merchandise only being available in a few select countries but now the actual pets!!! neo have gone too far this time....

Not exactly, TNT said the Bori will be made available to everyone soon, those who sign up just get it earlier, and get to paint it ice for free.

But oops, this is becoming another bori topic already. I think we should respect the author's wishes and talk more about the ice pb and ice shelves, for that matter.

I looked up the old Glass paintbrush styles, and most of them were terrible. The Ice Bori looks quite nice, though. It sounds as though TNT is planning to keep it exclusive to Boris, at least for the moment, but maybe they'll eventually make more pet colors for it. At least it doesn't seem to be just another fill color.

Well, I understand that some colors MUST be restricted to one particular kind of pet (such as usuki and alien), but a color such as ice should have no such restriction (Fire certainly doesn't!).

Who said only Jubjubs had to have coconut? Why not chias?
