High Score Board Question

How come on the Whack A Kass score board I am in 3rd place, which is still a gold trophy spot, yet this morning I only received 500np, not the 750np it says I should get.
I got 750np for being in 2nd place.

Also, its really frustrating that I got the high score first, but other people who got the score after me, but have a username that starts with a letter after mine bump me down the list
