8th October - Eyrie Day!
Eyrie Day is actually on a Sunday this year, but as that is a weekend, we are starting the festivities a little ahead of time.
To start things off, there are pages and pages of Eyrie themed fan art on display in the Art Gallery!
The Ice Bori is here! Everyone who helped us out with the offer should now be able to claim their very own Bori. You will have the choice of either creating your own Bori or changing one of your existing Neopets into a Bori. You will be able to choose a Red, Green, Blue, Yellow or Ice Bori. Click here to begin.
Also, Bori has been added to the Pronunciation page.
We are proud to announce our first ever bilingual sponsor game (Spanish and English) from PBS- Maya & Miguel!
The 161st issue of the Neopian Times has just been released. As usual you can look forward to all kinds of interesting articles, stories and adventures.
We have increased the amount of Neopoints you will earn from Moon Rock Rampage, fixed a few detection bugs and added a level timer.
By popular demand the Techo is the latest Neopet to receive a little makeover. For now just Red, Blue, Green and Yellow are complete. The other colours will be uploaded over the coming weeks.
This week's Neohome Spotlight award has been given to Poline1127, proud owner of 260500 Market Street, Neopia Central.

Gah, this is so hard to decide...should I morph my Usul into a Bori or keep her as she is? Her personality sort of matches a Bori, but then again she looks nice as a Usul. Waahaahaa!

I agree... if they redid the Darigan Kougra because of the poses, they should redo the Maraquan *shakes head*

Out of interest, am I the only person who finds it a little unfair that the winner of the Pet Spotlight was owned by a staff member?

Oh my...I guess I should be happy a Staff member gave me a few items for my gallery. I never knew it was a staff member.
If they wrote the spotlight stuff, it's not unfair. Seems like that account is just gallery. =/
At least Faerie Kougra looks good when compared to Maraquan Kougra, but a long shot.

I don't think it literally means you cannot abandon a Bori the way you can any other pet. That'd be, frankly, bizarre, though TNT has certainly done some odd things before.
I took it more as "You can't abandon it, that would be heartless," the usual official line about not encouraging putting pets into the pound (all the while creating avatars like Kacheek Swim that do in fact encourage it).
Maybe I should go drop by the pound just to see whether I get told "Please don't" abandon the other pets on that account but "It's not possible" to abandon my Bori.
Edit: The good news is that now I can uninstall that smurfing Toolbar!

well I;m thrilled with all of news even though my piece didn't get in (:cry: )
Hopefully since there are more eyrie MPs out the price of the basic colors will drop (I can dream can't I?)
Other than that I love the yoyo and the eyrie with the battle faerie toys.
